Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Itopi AB handles personal data collected through PipeFiles, including early access requests. It is written for the current private-beta stage of the product.

Who We Are

PipeFiles is a product operated by Itopi AB, a Swedish limited liability company. Itopi AB is the controller for personal data collected through this website and the PipeFiles early access form.

Information We Collect

When you request access, we collect the information you choose to provide, such as your email address, name, company, and description of your file workflow or use case.

We may also collect limited technical information, such as browser user agent, IP-derived security logs, timestamps, and basic request metadata needed to operate and protect the website and service.

How We Use Information

We use early access contact information to respond to your request, understand whether PipeFiles is relevant for your workflow, invite suitable teams to pilots or product interviews, and improve the product.

We use technical information to operate, secure, debug, and improve the website and service.

Legal Bases Under GDPR

For early access requests, our legal basis is your consent and our legitimate interest in responding to your request and evaluating demand for PipeFiles.

For security, fraud prevention, and service operations, our legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a secure and reliable service.

No Sale Or Marketing Sharing

We do not sell your contact information.

We do not share your contact information with third parties for their own advertising, sales outreach, or marketing purposes.

Service Providers

We may use service providers to host infrastructure, store data, deliver email, monitor errors, or protect the service. These providers may process personal data only as needed to provide services to us and are not allowed to use it for their own marketing.

Retention

We keep early access requests while we evaluate demand, contact potential customers, and develop PipeFiles. If you ask us to delete your information, we will delete or anonymize it unless we need to keep limited records for legal, security, or compliance reasons.

Your GDPR Rights

If GDPR applies to you, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of your personal data, and to request data portability where applicable.

You may also withdraw consent at any time. You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY) or your local EU supervisory authority.

International Transfers

Some providers we use may process data outside Sweden or the European Economic Area. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards such as adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses, or equivalent protections.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data. No online service can guarantee perfect security, but we design PipeFiles with security and data minimization in mind.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy as PipeFiles develops. The latest version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
